Transfer Novosibirsk/Barnaul-Ust-Koksa Leaving Novosibirsk at 8.00 p.m. local time . The place of departure: 65th Sovetskaya str., Novosibirsk. Leaving Barnaul at 11.50 p.m. Place of departure: hotel Centralnaya. The road goes along the famous Chuysky tract among the rock cliffs of the Altai mountains, then runs through the Kanskaya steppe and finishes in the valley.

Ust-Koksa. The largest settlement in Ust - Koksinskyi region, situated near junction of Katun and Koksa rivers, was founded in 1807. There are burial mound of Scythians (VIII - V B.C.) and 2 burial mounds of Afanasyevskaya culture (IV-III B.C.) not so far from Ust - Koksa, just at the foot of Terektinskyi mountain ridge. Excursion to the village Verhnyi Uymon. The village is one of the oldest settlements in the area and was founded by religious group of old-believers more than 300 years ago. According to the legend the old-believers escaping the hard yoke of serfdom were looking for White Water Land, the country of justice. They thought that this fertile land was situated in the Altai, where the white waters of Katun river flow. There are two museums in Verhniy village: Ethnographical museum named after famous artist Nikolay Rerih and Museum of old-believers’ religious traditions and culture

A trip to the mouth of the river Tyurgunda where located stone statues of the Turkic period. This group of stones belongs VI-IX centuries.

There are more than 3,000 stone statues of the Turkic period in the Altay Mountains. The name of this stones is "Balbal". A scientists think that stone statues is symbolized number of enemies who were killed by Turks.

You'll have opportunity grayling fishing. If you catch fish you will be able to cook it on fire. Lunch-picnic.

Rafting down Koksa river. Koksa river surrounded by picturesque mountains, covered by deep forest. They organize not a difficult raftings down Koksa river, so beginners can also participate in them.

You will be overcome two breathtaking rapids and then quite simple threshold of the second category of difficulty: Stupenchatiy and Gromotuhinskiy
