Itinerary:
Day 1.
Arrival in airport of Barnaul. Transfer to the base camp Vysotnic. Accommodation at hotel Vysotnic. Evening program “About Altai and about yourself”. (LB,D)
Day 2.
In the morning there is a walking tour in the area around the base camp, walking along the Katun river with a descend to solid ice (if the ice allows). A horse-sleigh ride to the Kucherla valley (1,5 hours). In the evening having a rest watching movies, playing chess or checkers. (B,L,D)
Day 3.
After breakfast there is a ski expedition to a Siberian maral farm. Approach to the panorama platform from which there are excellent views to the Belukha mountain and Katunsky range. In the evening there is a program “Legends and Myths of Altai”. (B,LB,D)
Day 4.
Horse sleigh expedition along the Katun river to the baby (ancient stone statues of knights) (17 km, 3-4 hours). Banya (Russian sauna) in the evening. (B,LB,D)
Day 5.
After breakfast the excursion to Multinskye lakes starts. At first we go 50 km by bus to Zamulta village. From Zamulta you will go riding or tobogganing to the Multinskiy Lower lake (if the temperature is lower than minus 30C an ATV transfer (UAZ or GAZ car) (27 km). Accommodation in a house with a stove. Banya. Overnight in the house. (B,LB,D)
Day 6.
Walking along the Multinskiy Lower lake. Upon wish you can fish grayling under the ice. Return to Zamulta and then to the camp Vysotnic. (B,LB,D)
Day 7
Free time in the morning. You can enjoy optional horseback riding, accompanied by grooms, cross-country skiing with a guide around Tungur with a guide. By the evening a visit to the National Museum AIL: getting acquainted with Altai national traditions, throat singing and music played on national instruments such as toshour (bow), Comus (labial). Day 8.
Snowmobile ride on the slopes of Bayda and Kyzyl, in the vicinity of Tungur village. Russian banya in the evening. In the evening a farewell dinner with animation program. (B,LB,D)
Day 9.
Departure from the camp Vysotnic for Barnaul. On the way a visit to the museum of Verhny Uymon, village of oldbelievers. Arrival in Barnaul in the evening. (B,L or LB,D)
