MDD1. Dog Sledding near Moscow
A unique opportunity to spend a day outdoors in a picturesque natural environment in a company of draught dogs
(husky) and their trainers. Take a
sledge pulled by 6-8 dogs and travel with a breeze through snowed fields and forests. See friendly draught dogs and make pleasant photos. Deliver unforgettable pleasure to your children.
Optionaly short sightseeing tour to nearly located Dmitrov town is recommended. Dmitrov was founded in 1154 by prince Yuri Dolgoruky. You can see ancient Kremlin with Cathedral of the Assumption (16th century) and administrative buildings of the first part of the 19th century.

Itinerary:
- Morning ride (60 km from MKAD) from Moscow to the dog breeding center.
- Acquaintance with the center. Making photos.
- Receiving instructions on dog sledding technique
- Dog sledding along a 3 km long path through forests and fields. Tourists drive the dog sledge alone, the dog trainer follows them on snowmobile and helps if needed.
- Optional lunch in a restaurant in Dmitrov.
- Optional sightseeing tour to town of Dmitrov
- Return to Moscow.
Note: The guests take a run in turn in a company of a dog trainer (1 guest per sledge). The whole duration of dog sledding is 1...4 hours depending on a group size and a number of runs.
