The Chukchis are one of aborigine peoples of Chukotka - the most north-eastern corner of Eurasia with extremely severe tundra climate. Their main traditional occupation is reindeer breeding. They roam with their herds across tundra all-year-round.
The trip deeps you into real everyday life of reindeer herders where modern elements are in tight fusion with millennial traditional culture of life and survival in northern tundra.

Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival in Anadyr. Registration. Transfer to the city. Accommodation in hotel. City tour.
Day 2. Visiting Chukotka Heritage museum center. Ride (100 km) by off-road caterpillar across snowed tundra to Chukchi aborigine village Kanchalan - the headquarters of local reindeer-breeding farm. Accommodation in a guest house. (D)
Day 3. Acquaintance with the village and local lifestyle. Concert of local ensemble of folk singing and dancing. Overnight in guest house. (BLD)
Day 4. Continuation of ride (several hours) by caterpillar to a field stand of Chukchi reindeer herders. Accommodation in a traditional local temporary dwelling - yaranga. Acquaintance with lifestyle of local dwellers. (BLD)
Day 5-6. Move by snowmobile-driven sledges or on foot (depending on distance) to a reindeer herd. Roaming with the herd. Acquaintance with work of herders. Return to the field stand. Overnights in yaranga. (BLD)
Day 7. Ride by caterpillar back to Kanchalan. Overnight in a guest house. (BLD)
Day 8. Ride by caterpillar to airport.Departure from Anadyr. (B)
