An exciting possibility to lay giddy ski-treks in virgin snows on steep slopes of Kamchatka volcanoes. Our experienced guides help you choose proper slopes just for your level of skiing skills. Visiting Nalychevo Natural Park and bathing in various thermal springs add to your impressions about this wonderful destination.

Itinerary:

Day 1. Arrival in Petropavlovsk. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation. Relaxation and acclimatization.

Day 2. Transfer to heli ground. Helicopter flight (20') to Avachinsky volcanic group. Heli skiing (4-5 descents) from Avachinsky and Kozelsky volcanoes. Return to Petropavlovsk. Overnight in hotel. (BL)

Day 3. Transfer to heli ground. Helicopter flight (40') to Zhupanovsky and Dzendzur volcanoes. Heli skiing (4-5 descents). Flight (15') to Nalychevo Valley. Relaxation and bathing in thermal springs. Overnight in cabins. (BLD)

Day 4. Helicopter flight (15') to Aag, Arik and Koryaksky volcanoes. Heli skiing (4-5 descents). Flight to Paratunka Hot Springs Resort. Accommmodation in hotel. Relaxation. Bathing in thermal springs. (BL)

Day 5. Helicopter flight (20') to Vilyuchinsky volcano. Heli skiing (4-5 descents) from surrounding mounts. Return to Paratunka. Overnight in hotel. (BL)

Day 6. Helicopter flight (25') to Mutnovsky - Gorely volcanic group. Heli skiing (4-5 descents). Bathing in Vilyuchinsky hot springs. Return to Paratunka. Overnight in hotel. (BL)

Day 7-8. Reserved days for improper weather. Possible city tour of Petropavlovsk, visiting Museum of Local Lore, fish market, local entertainments. (B)

Day 9. Transfer to airport. Departure from Petropavlovsk. (B)

Tour Highlights:

  • Avachinsky volcano (2741 m) – the active volcano with a perfect regular cone. Height 1700 m, length of runs up to 7 km, slope angle 20-40 degrees.
  • Koryaksky volcano (3456 m) – the regular ribbed cone with glaciers. Height 2400 m, length of runs up to 8 km, slope angle up to 45 degrees.
  • Dzendzur volcano (2155 m) – the destroyed volcanic massiff with a crater in a form of glacial kar. Length of runs up to 5 km, slope angle 25-35 degrees.
  • Zhupanovsky volcano (2175 m) – the volcanic massiff formed with four accreted cones. Height 1900 m, length of runs up to 10 km, slope angle 25-35 degrees.
  • Vilyuchinsky volcano (2958 m) – the regular cone with big erratic rocks on the top. Height 1600 m, length of runs up to 6 km, slope angle 30-40 degrees.
  • Mutnovsky volcano (2323 m). Height 1700 m, length of runs up to 5 km, slope angle 25-35 degrees.
