Moscow is the capital and the biggest city of Russian Federation, its historical, political, scientific and business center.

- The Moscow Kremlin - one of the largest museums in the world. The Kremlin is the heart of the city where the world famous museums are located.
- The Armoury. It is a treasury of masterpieces of Russian and foreign decorative and applied arts and royal regalia. The museum contains a unique collection of Tsar’s thrones, gala carriages, jeweled golden crowns, gala garments of Russian Tsar’s thrones, horse trappings, etc.
- The Diamond Fund of Russia. It is a collection of the world known diamonds and other treasures. The State Imperial regalia, the jeweler’s art of the 18-19 centuries, orders and decorations, historical gems are dislayed. One can also see a unique collection of gold and platinum nuggets.
- Novodevichy Convent. A monument of history and architecture of the 16-17-th centuries. Women from noble families lived there after taking veil. The Convent is deeply related with lives and activities of many Russian Tsars (Basil III, Ivan the Terrible, Boris Godunov, Peter the Great).
- The Kuskovo Estate is Count Sheremetev’s suburban palace built in 1770. The palace, domestic church, park, the grotto, the green-house and park cottages are well-preserved. The estate accommodates the state Museum of ceramics that displays a rich collection of china, majolica and glass-ware.
- St. Daniel Monastery. It is the oldest monastery in Moscow founded in 1282 by Prince Daniel. Now it is the administrative center of the Russian Orthodox Church and the residence of all Russia Patriarch.
- The Trinity Monastery of St. Sergius is a center of Russian Orthodoxy.
- Moscow Subway (Metro) is considered the best subway in the whole world.
- Tretyakov Art Gallery contains the national collection of painting, works of graphic art and sculptures.
- Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts has a large collection of works of outstanding masters from ancient times to our days. For many years the museum has been holding exhibitions of foreign art which are very popular among Moscovites.
