On a board of a ship you will get acquainted with Russian history through the lectures of the Romanovs' dynasty and the contemporary economic and political situation in Russia. Russian language and songs lessons are also available during the trip. Everyone who is interested in Russian poetry will hopefully enjoy the literary club sittings. Classical music and poems of famous Russian poets will take you away in a world of dreams, symbols and emotions and you will understand better the mysterious Russian Soul, learn something new about the history of the country.

Everybody interested in Russian folk art and handicrafts are invited to the art salon. You will learn when Russian nested-doll 'matrioshka' appeared and how it is made, what Tula inlay and 'gzhel' are, what are the peculiarities of Russian wooden hand-made 'Khohloma' tableware, Russian lacquer miniatures, traditional Russian costume. All souvenirs, lacquer boxes, jewelry, paintings and costumes are on sale in the gift-shop on a board of the ship.

If you are interested in dancing on a board of the ship you can have a perfect dance lounge. Every night the musicians will be happy to see you there. And during the daytime you are welcome to the Russian dance classes.

Every day during the trip you will be offered different dishes of Russian national cuisine: 'blini' (pancakes) with caviar, jam and sour-cream; pelmeni (dumplings); ukha (fish soup); shchi (cabbage soup).

Encouraged by all these activities you would like to unveil your own talents and skills. That's why by the end of cruises you are traditionally can take part in Passengers' Talent Show, where everybody enjoys this multicolored fairy-tale full of dances, songs, poetry and sketches performed by talented guests from all over the world.

The captain and his assistants will be happy to answer all questions concerning the history of the ship, how it is operated and about the members of the crew who are on watch all day long to make the cruise comfortable and safe.
